Vitamin E exists in eight different forms, four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. Both the tocopherols and tocotrienols occur in alpha, beta, gamma and delta forms. D-alpha-tocopherol which is also named RRR-alpha-tocopherol, Natural-source vitamin E, d-alpha-tocopherol, the only stereoisomer of alpha-tocopherol found in nature, which is the form of vitamin E that is preferentially absorbed and accumulated in humans and has the highest biopotency of all the isomericforms of vitamin E.

1 mg D-alpha-tocopherol = 1.49 IU* ,
1 mg D-alpha-tocopheryl acetate = 1.36 IU,
1mg d-alpha-Tocopheryl Hydrogen Succinate = 1.21 IU
